Description

This is a BRAND NEW Furnace Exhaust Draft Inducer Motor Assembly. It is designed as a top quality aftermarket replacement for Carrier/Bryant/Payne Furnaces. It direct replaces all of the old part #s listed below.
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though €œnatural draft€. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

CARRIER BRYANT PAYNE FURNACE INDUCER EXHAUST MOTOR YDZ-040L22541-01 320725-753

The inducer exhaust motor showed up before I was expecting it too, fit perfect, and works great. My furnace sounded like it had a jet engine in it, now you can not even hear it run. Quality product at a great price.

Shipped promptly and worked perfectly. Wish I could have gotten just the motor because that's all that was bad instead of the whole assembly but that was not offered. I am happy with the purchase and saved a lot of money by doing it myself instead of hiring an HVAC co. Installation went well but I needed to go buy a tube of RTV sealant which is needed for installation.
