Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Furnace Flame Sensor Rod. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. This flame sensor fits all Coleman furnaces with model #s starting with DGAA as well as some other DGA furnaces. It will not work with DGAT furnaces although we carry that flame sensor as well.
Function:
A flame sensor senses the furnace flame ensuring that ignition has occurred. It then monitors the flame until the furnace shut down. Should combustion be disrupted for any reason the sensor loses its signal and shuts the gas valve off.
