Description
This is a BRAND NEW Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller 2-Speed Furnace Blower Motor. This Motor has the 3 mounting "ears" riveted onto it for mounting. It's 1/3 HP 208-230 volts and 900 RPM. The Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller part number is 621939& the Emerson # is K55HXJNK-9229. If the shaft is facing up (as seen in the picture) the motor rotates CLOCKWISE. It takes a 10 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. Motor has two speed wires one common wire two brown capacitor wires and one green grounding wire.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
