Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Condenser Fan Motor. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The motor is 1/12 HP, 208-230v, and 1100 RPM. The motor is 5" in diameter (Frame 42Y) and mounts with four studs coming out of the back of the motor. The shaft extends 2" out of the motor. The motor has three wires plus a green grounding wire. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
