This is a BRAND NEW Replacement for Goodman/Janitrol Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor) part # 0230K00001. Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! The new ignitor comes with instructions mounting plate and wiring adapter. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
