Description
This is a Brand New Upgraded White Rodgers Universal Furnace Gas Valve. This 2 Stage Slow opening valve is rated at 140,000 BTU, 24 volt, and has a 1/2" X 1/2" Inlet/Outlet. The valve is set up for Natural gas, but includes an LP kit and reducer bushings in case needed. It is a designed to replace the part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
