This is a BRAND NEW Spiral Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! This item is a replacement for part #s FC035 FC035K & FC035KX. There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to basically any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
