Description
This is a BRAND NEW Gas Furnace Air Pressure Switch. It is made for Coleman/York/Luxaire systems and the part # is 324-35972-000. The Honeywell # is IS20437-6083. It is rated at 0.10 W/C with two pressure taps and two wiring terminals. This is the latest in a series of redesigned air pressure switches for Coleman units. The first switches were rated at .20, then redesigned at .15, then .18, and now .10". All of the switches with these old ratings, and the part #s below, are now superceding to this new Coleman air pressure switch. Up until now, making a version of this switch that works well has been difficult for Coleman.
Function:
An air switch is safety designed to ensure that your inducer motor is running at the proper RPM, and creating the proper vacuum for your furnace to flue safely.
