This is a brand new Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire Furnace Upgraded Furnace Spark Ignition Pilot Assembly. It comes with a natural gas orifice installed.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
