Description

This is a BRAND NEW Trane/American Standard Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/8 HP 200-230 volts 1075 RPM. If the shaft is facing up the motor spins Clock-Wise. It replaces the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    This motor was the OEM replacement for my American Standard/ Trane outside condenser fan motor. My outside condenser unit is almost 20 yrs old. When I turned on the AC for the first time this year the fan motor was making a racket. I was so glad to find this motor considering the age of the unit. It came with all the exact color coded wires with end terminals and lengths set. I didn't have to use a universal motor that I had to option for direction or horsepower, or come up with a way to mount it. North America HVAC had it on it's way to me the next day. They even changed my shipping method that I would get it Saturday vs Monday, at no additional cost.
