This is a new Aftermarket Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor) for Coleman Evcon Furnaces. It is designed to replace Coleman Evcon part #s 1474-052 1474-052P & 1474052P. Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
