Description
This is a new Furnace Blower Relay with a 24 volt coil. It is designed to replace York/Coleman/Luxaire part #s 024-26548-700 026-32588-015 8201-009 & 8201-0091. This relay has five spades (wiring terminals). It is a heavy duty relay rated for up to 18 Amps.
Function:
Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
