Description
This is a new Cork Screw (Spiral) Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! This Ignitor works on many York/Luxaire/Coleman gas furnaces- it works for ALL York/Luxaire/Coleman furnaces with a spiral ignitor. There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to nearly any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor (excluding Intertherm- search our store for spiral Ignitors designed for intertherm furnaces).
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
