This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Heat Pump Reversing Valve Coil Solenoid Relay. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment The relay has a 24 volt coil. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
