This is a BRAND NEW Goodman/Janitrol/Amana Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/6 HP 208-230 volts 810 RPM. The Motor has three wires. The Goodman/Janitrol/Amana part number is 0131M00060 (also 0131M00060S). The Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor # is YDK-120S83262-01 (replaces the old A.O.Smith Motors). If the motor is sitting with the shaft facing up rotation is CLOCKWISE. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. (This Motor is 5 5/8" Diameter (48Y Frame) as opposed to 5" diameter! (42Y Frame))
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
