Description
This is a BRAND NEW OEM 2-Stage White Rodgers Furnace Gas Valve. The Lennox/Armstrong/Ducane part #s include 103181-02 & 83W12 and the White Rodgers number is 36J55-255P1. It has a 1/2" inlet and 1/2" outlet. Valve is 5" long. The valve comes set up for NAT gas. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
