Description
This is a BRAND NEW Spiral Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! This item is a replacement for Nordyne #s 902661 & 902661A. There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to basically any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor (with the exception of Intertherm- check out my store for Intertherm spiral Ignitors).
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
