This is a BRAND NEW OEM Carrier/Bryant/Payne Furnace Gas Valve. The Carrier/Bryant/Payne Part # is EF32CW207 (also EF32CW207A) . The White Rodgers # is 36G24 510. This valve has a 1/2" inlet 1/2" outlet and operates on 24 volt. The valve has two wiring terminals. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
