This is a BRAND NEW Goodman/Janitrol/Amana Air Conditioning 4-Speed Blower Motor. It's 1/3 HP 115 volts 1075 RPM. The Goodman/Janitrol/Amana part number is 0131M00020. The Zhongshan Broad-Ocean Motor # is YDK-250L63223-01 (replaces the old A.O.Smith Motors). It takes a 12.5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. Motor is mounted with "ears" riveted to the body. (This Motor is 5 5/8" Diameter (48Y Frame) as opposed to 5" diameter! (42Y Frame)) !
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
