This is a BRAND NEW ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comfort Maker/Arcoaire/Sears/Kenmore/Snyder General Condenser Motor Fan Blade. The ICP part # is 1173874 and the Carrier/Bryant # is LA01RA222. It is a 24" 2 blade 1/2" bore condenser fan blade. The pitch on the blades is 16 degrees. If the set screw is facing down (as they typically are when installed) rotation would be clockwise.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
