Description
This ClimaTek Condenser Fan Motor is rated at 1/4 HP, 208-230 volts, and 1100 RPM. If the shaft is seen facing up (as in the photo) the rotation is clockwise. The wires and shell are designed to be a direct replacement to be used in many Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day & Night AC and heat pump condensers.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have end caps that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
