Description

This is a Brand New Universal GE Genteq Condenser Fan Motor. It is 1/4 HP, 230 volt, and 1075 RPM. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter the rotation is reversible. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    An Adequate Replacement

    When making repairs to my parents' central air unit, I decided to replace the fan motor since it was just as old as the other parts. I found this to be a suitable replacement for at least $40 less than the nearest competitor's offering. Once installed, it works perfectly. One might say it operates better than the original fan motor as the air is a degree or two cooler on the inside now. Great product! :)
