Description
This is a BRAND NEW GE Genteq Furnace BLOWER MOTOR. It was built by GE to replace GE Genteq part #s 5KCP39PGWB13S & 3S054. It's 1 HP 460 volt 1650 RPM and 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft is 5/8" in diameter and extends 2.25" out of the motor. If the shaft is facing up the motor rotates counter clockwise. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
