Description

This is a BRAND NEW A.O.Smith Condenser Fan Motor. It's 1/4 HP 208-230 volts 1075 RPM. If the shaft is facing up rotation is Clock Wise (or CCWLE) The Motor has three wires. It was designed as a direct replacement for Goodman/Janitorl/Amana part #s The Goodman/Janitrol part numbers B13400247 & B13400-247. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. Motor is 48 Frame (5 5/8" diameter). Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    Motor arrived promptly and worked just like the OEM motor. I had options to order this motor from other internet sites but chose to order from North America because the website stated the motor was made by O. E. Smith. The motor I received was made by Century (Chinese manufactured). Seems to work just fine and is at least as good as original Chinese motor. I think quieter than original. -Thank you for your purchase! Yes, A.O.Smith has been rebranded as Century as the motor line was sold. The motors are the exact same, but the name AOSmith in is retired in motors.
