Description
This is a BRAND NEW GE Genteq ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comfort Maker Furnace X13 BLOWER MOTOR Module. The part # is 1185849 and HK46ER232. It's 3/4 HP & 208-240 volt. Often when an X13 motor goes bad only the module is bad. You can unbolt the back end of the motor and replace the module with a new one. We cannot however guarentee that you will not need an entire motor assembly (which comes with a new module). This module works with the HD46AR233 motor among others. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
