Description

This is a BRAND NEW Honeywell 24 volt furnace Smart Gas Valve.The Honeywell Part # is SV9501M2056 (also SV9501M2528), and it is a direct replacement for the old part #s listed below. The valve has an 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet. It has two wiring plugs and comes with an LP kit to convert valve if desired. Thanks for looking!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.

    Perfect replacement

    So my furnace is about 30 years old. Recently it started not igniting. Not knowing hvac at all, we called a tech to look at it. He checked it over and it was the smart valve. He tried to “up sale” us on a whole new furnace, stating that a new smart valve would be 1000$+
    Screw that, got online and searched for the valve and found one on Amazon for like 450 shipped. Did a little more digging and found it here for 299. Went with the 3 day shipping since we needed it pretty fast. I have a pellet stove that is supplemental so we used that in the mean time.
    Ordered Sunday, arrived noon Wednesday. Couple YouTube videos and 30 min and I had it changed out. Easy repair with a great oem part. If this one lasts for half as long I’ll be happy.

    Really great service from this company and the valve was just what I needed to get the heat back on. I did have to replace the igniter on my system and found one locally for that, but, I could not find this valve locally unless I wanted to take out a second mortgage. I chose the standard shipping option and still received the valve within a few business days. VERY satisfied with the service and equipment and will recommend this company to anyone who needs equipment in the future!
