VisionPro 8000 Model TH8321U1097 is a Top-of-the-Line 3 Heat/2 Cool thermostat with humidity control meaning that it will work for a Heat Pump system with electric or gas backup heat and an optional humidifcation control. This thermostat replaces the obsolete TH8110U1003, except that it has the added option of humidity control and could go up to 3 Heat / 2 Cool, while the TH8100U1003 only worked for 1 Heat / 1 Cool.This simply means that this thermostat is more advanced than, and will replace the TH8100U1003.
