Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Condenser Fan Motor. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The motor is 1/4 HP, 208-230v, and 850 RPM. It is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). The shaft extends 2 5/8" out of the motor. The motor has three wires plus a green grounding wire- all going into a plastic 6 pin connector. This connector can be used or cut off and direct wired. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
