Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.

    Condenser fan motor

It's been a couple of months now and it us working great. It was the exact replacement for the motor that quit. My only complaint if I can say so is that the motor itself is not the problem but the electronics that operate it that goes bad. I wish someone would sell only the electronics that attach to the back of the motor which is shat goes bad. It would be cheaper and the job would be quicker to just removing 2 screws and a connector, and then the wires that plug in the the put door unit. Just saying it's a waste of equipment and time. Especially equipment that is not bad to be discarded.

Motor fan was an exact replacement with wire ends all ready attached. The only problem I have is that you can only buy the complete assembly and not just the controller part that is what goes bad most of the time.
