Description

This is a BRAND NEW OEM Carrier/Bryant/Payne ECM Furnace Draft Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor Assembly. The Carrier/Bryant/Payne part # is 324906-762 and the it includes an HC23CE116 motor (has a 326023-401 mounting plate). Thanks for looking and good luck! Thanks!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    Bryant OEM Replacement Inducer Motor

    Posted by John R on 9th Feb 2024 12:18

I purchased this Bryant OEM replacement inducer motor after my original one started making noises after 13 years. Although expensive, I felt it was worth replacing rather than scraping the whole furnace as the furnace has been trouble free and had passed a safety inspection on the heat exchanger. Note that the picture does not match the product supplied. The picture is of the old style motor that is now out of production. However, the new motor supplied is a direct replacement and comes with adapters for the wiring harness and the pressure switch bracket. The removal and replacement was easy and took about 1/2 hour.

    Inducer Assembly Solves my Problem

Posted by Unknown on 12th Jan 2017 22:19

I needed an inducer fan assembly to fix my Bryant furnace. It was expensive, but I still felt it was a better option than a new furnace. I would have given them five stars if they would have kept me updated in regards to the shipping status. I had to contact them via chat to confirm that my part had been shipped.
