This is a BRAND NEW Honeywell Carrier/Bryant/Payne 24 volt furnace Gas Valve.The Honeywell Part # is VR8205Q2795 and the Carrier/Bryant/Payne # is EF33CB192 (also EF33CB192A). The valve has an 1/2" inlet and a 1/2" outlet with two wiring terminals. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
