Description

This is a Brand New OEM Lennox/Armstrong/Ducane Furnace Exhaust Inducer Motor. It is 2-speed and 110 volt. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    Installed and running great. It came with new gasket & with directions for installation. New and much better than buying used ones that are out there. I am a do-it-yourselfer and you saved me a lot of money than having to pay someone to do, Thank You.

    Great replacement inducer fan

    Direct oem replacement for the inducer fan in my Lennox SLP98v furnace. The original fan housing was leaking condensate into the furnace and had started to rot out the furnace housing below the inducer. I had the old one out and new one installed in about 3 minutes and after running the furnace and checking this one isn’t leaking. Was delivered quickly in a couple days as well.
