This is a BRAND NEW OEM Intertherm/Nordyne/Miller/Tappan/Gibson/Frigidaire/Maytag 2 Stage furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor.The Intertherm part # is 904799 & the FASCO Motor #70625892. Assembly comes with a new gasket and orifices. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    I am thrilled with the quality of the Furnace Inducer Motor assembly that I purchased from you. It contained an assortment of bolts and reducers insuring that I had everything I needed for my furnace. It started right up after installation. I was also thrilled with how fast it shipped - I paid for the quicker delivery and it arrived early even though my house is in a rural area. I looked around before I purchased it from you and found either others did not have it or I was not comfortable ordering it from them. It is comforting that my furnace is again reliable because winter is approaching here in Wisconsin. Bravo!
