This is a BRAND NEW OEM ERPP5 Powerstart Assist/Hard Start Capacitor. Powerstart Capacitors give the compresser/motor a "boost" to get them up and running. This powerstart operates with a voltage range of 110-277v and for appliances within the BTU range of 4000 to 60000. There is no guarentee that it will fix your unit or for how long it will fix your unit. Sometimes powerstarts work for years and sometimes the unit is so damaged that they cannot be started up.
