This is a BRAND NEW GE Genteq Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsiare ECM BLOWER MOTOR. The Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire part # is 51-24374-27. It's 1/2 HP and 120/240 volt. The motor is 5 5/8" in diameter (Frame 48Y). This updated design in the main photo above replaces the older style seen in the secondary photo. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
