Description

This is a BRAND NEW OEM Trane/American Standard Furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor . The Trane part # is BLW01139(Fasco # 70626200) . Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    I would have been nice to have a little tube of high temp sealant included for the gasket instead of making me buy a $32 caulking tube for one tiny bead of high temp silicone caulk.

    This unit was an exact match to unit being replaced, looked at other websites with units that could have worked, I opted to spend a bit more and be sure. This replacement took about 15 minutes, 3 bolts, 1 screw clamp, 1 ground screw, moved 1 electrical connector from old unit.

    Having your furnace breakdown in your new house unexpectedly is stressful, and so is having a HVAC tech tell you it will cost over $900 to fix. Luckily mine was honest and let me know I could easily install the part needed myself, and after searching online I found the authentic oem part for the best price here. I didn't know how long I would have to wait to receive it as we're in the middle of the coronavirus shut down and was prepared to go without a furnace for a week or more.

    I was shocked when my order shipped within an hour. I ordered on Monday and had it by Thursday afternoon, it arrived in perfect condition and is the exact oem part.

    Thank you so much for such wonderful service during this time! It was an easy, 15 minute install that saved us at least $500 during a time when money is extra tight. Will definitely be getting any necessary parts here!
