Description
This is a Brand New Upgraded Source1 Furnace Blower Motor. Source1 is the source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The motor is 1/2 HP, 115 volt, 1100 RPM, and is 5 5/8" in diameter. If the shaft is facing up, as seen in the picture, the rotation is counter-clockwise (CWLE). It is an replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
