This is a BRAND NEW Rheem/Weather King/Corsaire/RUUD Air Conditioning Fan Motor. It's 1/3 HP 208-230 volts 1075 RPM. The rotation is reversible. The Rheem/Weather King/Corsaire/RUUD part number is 51-23053-11. It takes a 5 uf Capacitor rated at 370 volts. This Motor mounts with screws in the SIDE instead of mounting studs coming out the back.
Function:
An electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In an HVAC system, motors typically turn the air conditioning fan blade and the furnace blower motor. Newer high efficient motors, such as X13 and ECM motors, have "end caps" that control the motor speeds. These can be removed and replaced separately.
