This is an BRAND NEW Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire Furnace Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor.Replaces Rheem/Ruud/WKing/Corsiare #s 70-24033-01 (Fasco # 70625177 & 7162-3861). Inducer motor is 115 volt and 3450 rpm. .Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    I purchased this motor because the price was significantly better than other sellers. The motor was labeled same as my original that I replaced after 20 years. The changeout took only about 10 minutes. I hope for another 20 years of service.
