Description

This is a BRAND NEW Trane Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor . The Trane part # is BLW00864(Fasco # 702111543). The motor assembly has 2 wires plus a green grounding wire! Replaces all the old part #s listed below. Thanks for looking and good luck!
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though “natural draft”. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

It was exactly what I needed, easy to install in place of the old one, 10 minutes out with the old in with the new. Showed up 1 day early.

    Perfect original equipment replacement

I am not a "trained professional" but was able to easily replace my faulty intake blower motor in about 40 minutes...taking my time. I know I saved several hundred $$ by purchasing this part direct and installing it myself.

    Dropped right in

Great experience. Delivery took only a few days. I pulled out the old inducer,re-sealed the opening with some hight-temp RTV, dropped this one in, revised one electrical connector, waited 24 hrs for the RTV to cure, and it works like a charm -- no howling bearing as my old one had.
I'm really pleased that NA HVAC had what I needed. My system is 10 years old.
