Description
This is a BRAND NEW Ugraded White Rodgers Slow Opening Gas Valve. It works in both Hot Surface and Direct Spark applications. The valve is 4 5/8" long with a 1/2" in let and 1/2" outlet. It is currently set up for NAT gas but an LP kit is included in case the valve needs to be converted for LP gas. It is designed to replace the part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
