This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Condenser Contactor. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. This Condenser Contactor is 3 pole, has a 24v coil, is rated at 30 amps, and has sealed contacts. It replaces all of the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
A contactor form of a relay. Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
