Description
This is a new upgraded White Rodgers furnace gas valve. The valve has an 3/4" inlet and outlet but comes with two reducers allowing you to reduced either or both ends to 1/2". The valve is currently set up for NAT gas. It is designed to replace the part numbers listed below.
Function:
The gas valve is a low voltage control (usually 24 VAC) that allow gas into the combustion chamber. It is also an adjustable regulator that insures proper gas pressure for combustion. They have a manual shut off.
