This is a new 24 volt Single Pole ClimaTek Condenser Contactor Relay rated at 30 amps. It is a replacement for York/Luxaire/Coleman part # 024-27531-000 .
Function:
A contactor form of a relay. Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
