Description
This is a Brand New OEM Upgraded Source1 Electric Furnace Heating Element Assembly. Source1 is the OEM source for all parts used in York, Coleman, Evcon, and Luxaire HVAC equipment. The element is rated at 10.4 KW / 240v. The front mounting plate is 10.75" wide and 3.25" tall. It is mounted with screws on both sides (also has screw holes available on the top and bottom). The elements extend 9" beyond the mounting plate. Coleman's new elements are designed to not need any support in the back. Two brand new 150 degree limit switches have been factory installed on this assembly. It is an OEM replacement for the old part numbers listed below.
Function:
A heating element converts electricity into heat through the process of resistive heating. Electric current passing through the element encounters resistance, resulting in heating of the element.
