Description
This is an NEW NORDYNE/INTERTHERM/MILLER Electric Furnace Fused Disconnect. It is designed for Mobile/Modular homes and goes in all 15/17 KW electric furnaces that do not use internal furnace breakers (some 12KWs too). This assembly requires two 60 amp fuses and two 30 amp fuses (not included). Please EMail if you have any questions! (Some of these switches have the smaller fuses on the inside and some on the outside- depending on whichever we have at the moment- they both work in all the same furnaces). You will only receive what is shown in the photo. This is not the electric breaker kit (it is a fused disconnect as shown in the photo.)
Function:
A door switch makes or breaks an electrical connection when a door or panel is opened or closed. It is usually provided as a safety feature to avoid electrical shock or physical injury.
