This is a BRAND NEW Amana/Goodman/Janitrol Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor) part # 20261709 (also 20261709S PSE-AM17 & 202617) . This ignitor is identical to the 0230K00001 but does not have an adapter that will connect to older Goodman style ignitors. If you already have an updated ignitor as seen in the picture then this will work for your Amana/Goodman/Janitrol furncae. Simply unplug yours and plug this one in. Thank you for looking! Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
