This is a BRAND NEW Carrier/Bryant/Payne Pilot Assembly The Carrier/Bryant part number is LH31AM002 (also 0350AFB). This Pilot Assembly is usedin both natural gas and propane (lp) appliances. If your using this on an LP gas furnace you will need to replace the pilot orifice with a LP pilot orifice.
Function:
The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
