Description

This is a BRAND NEW Carrier/Bryant/Payne Draft Inducer Motor / Exhaust Motor Assembly. The Carrier/Bryant/Payne part # is 326058-752 and the attached motor has part #s HC27CB123 and JE1D017N'.
Function:
An inducer motor is designed to expel the exhaust gas from the furnace. Older inefficient furnaces allowed the flue gas to escape the unit with virtually no resistance. Newer high efficient furnace heat exchangers are so restrictive that the flue gases cannot exit the furnace though ?ônatural draft?ö. Therefore, the inducer is required to pull the flue gases through the heat exchanger. The inducer motor is usually the first thing that starts up when your furnace calls for heat.

    Inducer draft motor and housing

Posted by Bill Domichel on 9th Jan 2020 20:08

The Draft inducer has not been installed as of yet. My only concern is that the new motor is rated at 3300 rpm and the old inducer is rated at 3400 rpm. My question to you is does the difference in rpm make any differance in the operation of the heated?
