Description
This is a new ClimaTek Gas Furnace Air Pressure Switch. It is designed to replace the old ICP/Heil/Tempstar/Comfortmaker/Kenmore/Arcoaire Part #s listed below. The pressure rating is 0.45" wc. The original, but now obsolete Tridelta switch can be seen in the second picture.The newer smaller plastic switch that has replaced it is seen in the main photo.In most cases, this new switch will mount into the original mounting holes, but in rare instances, it may have to be remounted.It has two wiring terminals and one hose port.
Function:
An air switch is safety designed to ensure that your inducer motor is running at the proper RPM, and creating the proper vacuum for your furnace to flue safely.
